My Story

Hi, My name is Dave Nassaney. I'm an entrepreneur, multi-best-selling author, syndicated radio host, award-winning speaker and owner of gas stations since 1979.  Life threw me a curve ball in 1996 when my wife suffered a massive stroke that left her severely speech-impaired and paralyzed on one side. I've since learned that life's difficulties and struggles only made me stronger and wiser.

In addition to being known as the Caregiving Expert at CaregiverDave.com, and the Gasoline Expert at GasolineExpert.com, I am also known as the Hammock Wisdom Expert at HammockWisdom.com with the release of my newest #1 Best Selling book, "Secrets from the Hammock, Uncommon Wisdom for Uncommon Times.".  Since wisdom has become so uncommon in these uncommon times, it has become even even more essential when making any kind of decisions or choices in the areas of finances, health, relationships, matters of the heart, mental stresses and spiritual peace.

What’s Being Said

I have had the great privilege of having Dave Nassaney as a speaker at my event this weekend here at the Harvard Club in Boston. Everybody is always blown away  every time Dave speaks. I've see him at NAZDAQ, I've seen him at the Harvard Faculty Club, I've seen him on stage with Suzanne Somers. I've seen him on stage with Caitlyn Jenner and Martha Stewart. the guy is a first class celebrity talent speaker. If you haven't invited him on your stage yet, what are you waiting for?

Hi Dave,
I just started reading your book, It’s My Life Too!. I took care of my parents for over thirteen years, they both had Alzheimer’s, I wish your book had been available back when I started caregiving. You provided lots of great information, I will recommend it to my friends who are caregivers as well. I’ve also started listening to your podcasts, my first podcasts I’ve really listened to. It’s opened up a whole new world for me.I will also admit, it’s nice to feel a connection by listening to your voice and the voices of your guests. I feel like I’m in the room with you. Again, like with your book, your podcasts are very informative. When I finish reading your book, I will definitely leave a review online.

Thank you Dave for providing the

services that you do for caregivers, it’s so important during regular times, now with the virus, your voice is even more important. Take care and stay healthy, my friend,

"Getting Hosed" is a real eye-opener! David Nassaney gives us a "behind the curtains" view into what goes on in the American gas station. I've always taken for granted the availability of gas at reasonable prices. I'll never get gas again without thinking of this book and the stories David tells. I have a new found appreciation (and respect) for the local station owner. This book is at the same time, funny, heart warming and frustrating. You get a sense of what these small business owners have to cope with on a daily basis, both from us as customers and from the big oil companies. It's a wonder they don't all just shut down! This is an easy to read, very informative book that should be read by everyone. Thanks David. I'll never complain about gas prices again. At least, not to my local gas station owner.

When I joined your Facebook group over a month ago, I listened to that video on suicide and depression. Thanks for sharing. Maybe this is a way for caregivers to start having these important and necessary conversations relating to feelings of guilt, depression, stress and feelings of suicide.

Storyteller Dave Nassaney’s page-turner (Secrets from the Hammock, Uncommon Wisdom for Uncommon Times) seamlessly combines history, theology, psychology, philosophy, and epigenetics, with the peak potential movement. He reminds us that counsel woven from experience, reality, and love is uncommon wisdom. During these uncommon times, there’s no better anecdote to self-sabotage and tyranny than divine wisdom, and the courage to act on it. Courage, based on wisdom, changes everything!

A word of caution: if you read and apply the lessons and wisdom found in the pages of this book, you may find yourself living in the present and recognizing that your life is on a different trajectory. Fear not, however. That’s a GREAT thing! You’ll find your mind and heart will shift, and you’ll focus more on living a life of significance by serving those in your community, business, place of worship, and home. You’ll come to realize the beauty in the truth that success is actually the byproduct of living a life of significance.

Do the world, and yourself, a favor; go do something significant today. Now, go get ‘em!

Good afternoon, Dave
Sure was a pleasure speaking on your Caregiver Dave radio show yesterday afternoon. I loved your enthusiastic warm-hearted, spontaneous, joyful genuine spirit. Being on your show was a blast for me, and I hope for you as well! You are exactly the kind of podcast for whom I’d like to speak! You exemplified being a model of what a caregiver should look like; compassion and perception; inclusion and high expectation! I look forward in keeping in touch and seeing you virtually or in person some day.

With gratitude and Infinite blessings.
